The Merkel Helix uses a picatinny rail, so this 12mm Euro Rail base will fit onto an existing picatinny rail mounted to any rifle. Which means you can adapt your rifle for 12mm Euro Rail, even if you have a picatinny rail already mounted.

This Quick Release Base is precision made by Contessa Alessandro & C. s.n.c. The fixed base is made to fit directly to your rifle, then you use the Contessa Quick Release Base, either one of the possible models available, and using it's QD clamping system you can attach the mount to the base. This system allows you to interchange scopes on a single rifle, and even change a scope to different rifles in seconds using the Contessa system.
