This Steel Picatinny Rail is precision made by Contessa Alessandro & C. s.n.c. The part is precision made to fit the rifle with exact hole spacing to screw to the rifle with the supplied screws and wrench. This picatinny rail for Sako TRG will fit the 22 model and the 42 model. Please note that the Sako TRG 22 / 42 has 6 holes on the action which align with the rail, but some other Sako TRG actions may only have 4 holes, but the rail will still match up with these 4 holes.
Also take note of the recoil lug/locator pin on the underside of the rail. Some of the Sako TRG are equipped to accept the lug, but if your rifle isn't equipped then you will need to carefully file off the unnecessary lugs from the rail.
