Recknagel SECURA Safety for Remington 700

The in the white steel safety mechanism for Remington 700 features the 3-position SECURA Safety system developed by Recknagel. The 3-positions being complete safe (can't fire or open bolt), safe (can't fire but can open the bolt) and live (can open the bolt and fire).

The SECURA-safety has a special safety catch which is incorporated into the locking lever. It locks the lever into the third position and can be released easily by pushing down on the locking lever as you push the lever into the 2nd position. This prevents accidental releasing of the safety. Will need to be fitted, polished and blacked. Gunsmith installation is recommended.
