Bauer ED 8x50 Binoculars

The Bauer 8 X 50 ED i is a new generation of ergonomically optimized and high performance binoculars using Barium Crown optical glass (BaK-4). The glass itself has anomalous partial dispersion with the new ED lens system and a sturdy but also lightweight rubber reinforced magnesium body that keeps the weight down.

Front lens diameter of 50mm and high transmission factor means these binoculars are top of the range when it comes to viewing under twilight condition. The 8 x 50 ED is, despite it's compact body, a real alternative to a larger 56 diameter lens. The robust, high-strength and lightweight magnesium-alloy housing supports the excellent optical system with an optimal protection of the system against impact and shock. The 8 x 50 ED are excellent light gathering binoculars, with a wide field of view and amazing light gathering properties for twilight and dusk viewing.
