Bauer ED 10x42 Binoculars

The Bauer 10 X 42 ED is a new generation of ergonomically optimized and high performance binoculars using Barium Crown optical glass (BaK-4). The glass itself has anomalous partial dispersion with the new ED lens system and a sturdy but also lightweight rubber reinforced magnesium body that keeps the weight down.

The robust, high-strength and lightweight magnesium-alloy housing supports the excellent optical system with an optimal protection of the system against impact and shock. An elaborate sealing system guarantees protection against moisture even under rough climatic conditions. The internal filling with nitrogen prevents the fogging of the inner glass surfaces in case of extreme temperature differences. Twistable eyecups also allow spectacle wearers to take advantage of the large field of view. The 10 x 42 ED are the perfect all-rounders, with great field of view and light gathering properties for twilight and dusk viewing.
