The VFG 1 piece cleaning rod long (910mm / 35.8 inches wiping length) includes adaptor for sizes 7mm and Over. The rod is made out of stainless steel with a large polyamide handle is fitted with two roller bearings which do not require servicing. The shaft of this rod is thicker than the VFG Cleaning Rod for .22 - 6.5mm calibres to handle the larger calibre felts.

The 7mm (+ larger) Rod is recommended for the following calibres: .280 Rem., .284 Win., .270 Win., 7,5 Suisse, 7,62 mm, 30 – 36, .300 Win. Mag., 300 SAVAGE, .30 Rem. 308 Win., 7,65 mm, 7,64 Para, 32 S & W
